This photo was taken during a routine maintenance of a
Trane Clean Effects electronic air cleaner.
This filtration system is picking up a lot of the toxins and tar
associated with cigarette smoke. A great
job for an air cleaner that, when well maintained, can filtrate particles up to
1/10th of a micron. That's 1/100th of a
human hair in diameter.
